The On-Board Recorder (OBR) provides high-speed and high-density storage for the mission payload data, using non-volatile NAND Flash Memory.
High-Speed Serial (HSS) interfaces to the Payload and Transmitter are implemented using transceivers of Xilinx 7-series FPGA. TC/TM for the module is supported over CAN bus, which also supports reception of spacecraft attitude data to store together with mission payload data in order to optimise ground processing.
